Save Our Seas Foundation Supports PhD Research on Shark/Beach Policies

Submitted by Chris on June 9, 2011 – 7:43 amNo Comment

The Save Our Seas Foundation has awarded me a scholarship for my PhD research in 2011 and I could not be more grateful and appreciative!

These funds will help me continue my study into the impact of framing following shark bites on the development of shark control and shark conservation policies. More information about Save Our Seas is available on their website: http://saveourseas.com/

I would also note the important support that I receive from the Sydney Aquarium Conservation Fund and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

The Save Our Seas Foundation is committed to protecting our oceans by funding research, education, awareness and conservation projects focusing on the major threats to the marine environment.
